NCRE logo and the art factory
NCRE is excited to announce we have commissioned Raleigh-based art company Glas, to create a neon version of our logo! The work is now finished and the logo looks amazing.
This comes as part of preparations for our new office space in the historic and iconic Rocky Mount Mills, a building whose origins date back to 1818.
“We can’t wait to see the logo in the new space, I think it will look the part” said Tim Barker, Head of Development for NCRE.
Glas is a teaching facility and gallery; an art factory and personal studio, where ongoing material experimentation and instruction come together to form art pieces and aesthetic décor.
Glas is a glimpse into neon’s past heyday and a peek into its artistic future; preserving iconic works of advertising while creating new outlets for the medium of illuminated glass tubing.
Their website is filled with eye candy available for inspiration and purchase. www.glas.work
