NCRE breaks two Gigawatts in pipeline
Last month North Carolina Renewable Energy (NCRE) added a further 327MW of projects under development to its pipeline. The new projects, which were located in key focus states of South Carolina and Virginia, take the total of projects under development to over 2 Gigawatts of solar PV capacity.
“We are very pleased to reach such a significant milestone in our business”, said Dan Shaffer, founder and President of the company. “Ever since we started more than a decade ago, we have been working to create high value, high quality solar developments. We could not have imagined reaching, and powering through, 2,000 Megawatts of solar capacity back then, but now the next Gigawatt is already on the horizon!”
NCRE partners with a select number of established solar funding companies to develop its pipeline of solar PV projects. Its focus is on utility scale solar developments in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.
