NCRE Holds Successful Community Meeting for Two New Solar Projects

On Wednesday, November 4th, NCRE held its first community meeting for two new 4 MW projects located in Henry County, VA. The projects are sited along Hwy 58 and Ebony Dr in Martinsville and will generate power equivalent to the consumption of more than 7,000 homes once operation begins.

The meeting, which NCRE routinely includes in each project development process, was welcomed by the local community as a professional way to introduce the proposals and answer any questions.  NCRE also provided a livestream of the meeting through the love.solar portal.

NCRE is excited about this project’s potential and will work with the community through the development process to ensure a profitable, and agreeable outcome for everyone involved.

While meeting invitations were directed towards the landowners immediately surrounding the project, the public may attend the public hearing with the Board of Zoning Appeals, dated tentatively for the month of December 2020.
